May. 24th, 2008 11:22 pmWHY DID NO ONE TELL ME THAT THE YARN THAT I WOULD LIKE WOULD BE EXPENSIVE?
I was thinking of knitting an afghan for my mom and grandma for Christmas. I found some yarn I really liked and...found out for me to knit one it would cost me about $200. Yeah. Which ok, I'd deal with if I actually had money, but right now, more on the broke side of the money thing.
So...does anyone know of really nice fairly inexpensive yarn good for afghans? Worsted weight, preferably not acrylic.
Also, is it necessary to have washable yarn for afghans?
