Title: Untitled thus far. My sister suggested "Just a Whore", though
Author: Fairly obvious, but
sciencegeek
Pairing: HP/DM
Rating: PG-13, or whatever the hell it's called now.
Word Count: 158, so says Microsoft Word
Disclaimer: This is not endorsed by Rowling, her publishers or the WB. I do not own these characters, I just write about them.
Author's note: Inspired by the prompt for this week's Amazing Weekly Drabble Thingy (AWDT) "Can't get it out of my head", and written at about 2:30 am. It hasn't really been beta'd so all spelling and grammatical errors are my own. Also, I should probably give a huge thank you to
jamie2109 who said this wasn't as bad as I thought it was, and that I ought to post it, otherwise, it would probably be in the trash on the piece of loose-leaf I originally wrote it on. NOTE: This is post-Hogwarts era (that is, they're all grown up)
Feedback, concrit, comments etc are welcome, but, I'd prefer it if you don't flame me, but I doubt that me asking for you not to will really stop you if you are inclined to do so.
Draco allows himself to believe that the hate he sees in Harry’s eyes is not for him, but directed at Harry himself. That Harry hates himself for returning to Draco, week after week. He allows himself to believe that while Harry thinks he’s humiliating Draco, it’s actually the other way around. After all, he’s not the one that’s paying for sex. He’s not the one that’s completely undone by his enemy. He allows himself to believe that Harry tries to be quiet, that Harry bites his lip because he’s trying to keep from moaning his name when they fuck. He allows himself to believe that he has the upper hand and that he could go to the press any day and reveal all of Harry’s dirty secrets and Harry would be shunned, just like he was. He can’t stop believing this, can’t let it out of his head, otherwise he’d see himself as Harry does. Just a whore.

on 2005-07-09 03:32 pm (UTC)In my own little fluff world, I will believe that Draco is right, Harry does love him, and just can't admit it *g*

on 2005-07-09 04:13 pm (UTC)It's kind of odd, because I prefer to read fluff over angsty-serious-sad things, and the first thing I write...isn't fluff.
