Wait...what?

Does this mean no more 'basic' accounts?

*is confused*

ETA: And after creating (and deleting an account), it means that you can't create a basic account. I'm not sure if those with 'basic' accounts will stay 'basic' or if it will go to 'Plus'.

The comments in the latest news post are griping about it. I checked it out and signed up for a dummy account. There's no more basic option. It's plus or paid.

Oh, by the way, judging from the FAQ, only if the account was created before March 12 will the option for Basic be available.

As I understand it, it will no longer be possibly to create new Basic accounts. Current Basic accounts will stay Basic (they say). I'm curious as to whether previously-Basic Paid accounts will revert to Basic or Plus when they run out. Maybe in particular how it works for Paid comms.
