I've been debating whether or not to make a post on the OSBP, because there are a lot of posts out there that are very well done, and I can't say it much better than they do. What my position boils down to is this: I don't have an issue with sex no longer being taboo, or the touching of certain body parts no long being considered 'dirty'. What I object to is the idea that my breasts are somehow available for anyone to take and use (like open source software). It bothers me that in this 'experiment' male privilege, peer pressure, and gender issues were not addressed, the fact that wearing the Red button ETA(Green = ask first Red = 'No') still meant people could ask you if they could touch you - 'No' did not, in fact, mean no. ETA: It has been pointed out to me that I may have misinterpreted a sentence in the OP that (to me) indicated that both red or green could be asked, just in the wording. One of the things that I do like that has come out of this clusterfuck is feminist chatter that I see on my flist, because it isn't something I see much of normally.
