Also, I have a gift exchange with my Dad's side on the 26th, and need to think of a gift. It's one of these gift exchanges. I can buy a 'girl' present or a neutral present, but I'm having problems thinking of things, minus the fallback plan of The Body Shop, or a gift certificate. Initially I was thinking of knitting a hat and scarf set and add, like chocolates or something, but I don't think I have enough time for that anymore, since I'm really picky about yarn.

Also, buying for my brother and dad is a bitch, since their Christmas lists suck.

Hey, I knit also and yarn selection can be a full time job. Those exchange type gifts are the worst type to buy since they are not for anyone in particular. My general rule of thumb is buy something you would be happy to get so no matter what at least you feel good about giving it. Lame advise I know, but it is usually what I do :)

See, I found some necklaces that I like, but besides me, and possibly my mom I'm not sure who else would like them. I'm thinking of getting a suncatcher or something. If I weren't so stubborn, I'd just get something generic (e.g. candles or soap/lotions etc), but I wanted to get something different, hence the problem. Oh well.
